Broken teeth
Broken teeth on a spring barrel.
Repaired teeth
A piece of brass has been soldered in place and cut to the shape of the teeth. The graduations on the rule are millimetres.
Rounded tips
Pallets from a Vienna regulator whose tips have been rounded off.
New pallets
New pallets cut from a sheet high carbon steel. The tips have been polished and hardened.
Split minute wheel post
A minute wheel post that has been split by ramming a taper pin too far.
Soldered split end
The split end has been silver soldered together.
Painted dial
A very sad looking 19th century painted dial.
Restored dial
The same dial after restoration by Cosigns.
